A version of Keen's tile editor was used to create maps for games as recent as Rise of the Triad, which was itself built on a modified Wolfenstein engine.

That game got a remake a couple of years ago. I don't know if they were referring to that.


If they were still using the Keen Tile Editor that'd be amazing.


I was referring to the original -- which was still released after Doom came out.


Why would someone remake a game using the same engine?
